Hello! If you're looking for a page with info about business, that will be in FAQS. If you're still on this page, I guess you want to know a little bit more about me which is a little bit nerve-wracking, but I'll do my best to oblige! I was born and raised right here in Edmond, Oklahoma, and I have no plans to leave anytime soon! Aside from art and baking, I love reading, practicing hand lettering, and taking my corgi Scout for walks.
Why i bake
I've always had a sweet tooth. It didn't matter what I had for dinner, the best part of the night was always the dessert! I started taking an interest in creating sweet treats from an early age, but my cousin Molly was my main inspiration in pursuing cookie art. Every Christmas she would put out the most amazing sugar cookies I had ever seen. When I got old enough to realize that was something I could try to do myself I asked for her recipe and took off from there. I tried all different kinds of decorating, always trying to challenge myself to a new technique or style. Eventually, I began sharing my artistic endeavors at family events, just like Molly once had. Baking is a passion of mine, but I also hope to honor her memory by continuing to improve the interest we shared. I'm still learning as I go, but I hope to spread joy with the sweets I create, as well as take a more active role in my community!
